When Shah Rukh Khan gave the dates he had reserved for Karan Johar’s Khan to Aditya Chopra for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, fellow actor Aamir Khan came into the picture.
It has been reported in an Indian daily that Karan Johar wasn’t happy when his good friend Shah Rukh delayed his film for Aditya and resorted to dump him altogether… replacing him with fellow actor and big time rival Aamir Khan. The idea of approaching Aamir for the centrepiece role in Khan came to Karan after hot actress Kajol suggested it to him. Apparently, Kajol was also upset that Shah Rukh had gone to the Yash Raj camp to rescue them from the doldrums of consecutive flops.
However, Karan decided not to take this desperate measure and admitted a Dharma defeat. He will now work with Shah Rukh and Kajol towards the end of the year.
What are your thoughts on this huge revelation… do you feel that Shah Rukh was wrong to ditch a good friend like Karan Johar, who has never made a movie without him, for Aditya Chopra… or do you think Shah Rukh made the right decision? Would you have loved to see Aamir working with Karan or not? Please use the comments section below for your feedback.
