Karan has managed to get Kajol on board for his next directorial venture, opposite none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh and Kajol will face the camera together after a gap of seven years. Incidentally, they were last seen sharing screen space in Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Before leaving for New York, for location hunting, this morning, Karan confirmed the developments, "Yes, I am getting the hot pair back together. Kajol and Shah Rukh will be in my next film. It's an emotional love story, written by Shibani Bhatija."
Karan had wanted to recreate the Kajol-SRK magic in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna but she had turned down the part that finally went to Rani. On Koffee with Karan, Kajol made it public that Shah Rukh was upset with her for making her comeback with Aamir Khan in Fanaa, instead of doing a film with him.
